Thanksgiving with BookBox

This is the season to be grateful, spend time with family and enjoy the cold weather (depending on where you are in the world). Here in India at BookBox, we are thankful for many things including BookBoxers (that’s you!), our Add My Language volunteers, education, and opportunities to grow and help improve literacy levels worldwide.

Today, we would like to share our Thanksgiving story. Although not in an AniBook format with Same Language Subtitles, yet, this cute story is offered free as a PDF at the bottom of this page and downloadable on our website. It tells the story of a sweet child who spends Thanksgiving eating Apple Pie, playing with cousins and falling asleep on Grandma’s lap!

Thanksgiving is time to share what we’re thankful for this season. Read this story with your child, ask him/her what she loves most about Thanksgiving, what’s her favorite food, what’s he looking forward to the most? Ask your children or students, what are you thankful for this week? You can even have them draw a picture of their Thanksgiving table surrounded by family and friends. Send it to us, we would love to see it!

But don’t forget to tell us (in the comment section below): What are you thankful for today?

Have a delicious, happy, and healthy Thanksgiving from your friends at BookBox!
